STEP is a US Department of State designated sponsor of J-1 Teacher Program. We bridge the critical teacher shortage by matching international foreign talent with skilled training opportunities and sponsoring highly qualified K-12 teachers in multiple teaching positions. Learning is easier when you have excellent teachers. Most of our educators have achieved advanced degrees in their field. We only sponsor teachers who are passionate about the subjects they teach and bring this enthusiasm into their lessons.
We at STEP are very active in the local community. We coordinate with local organizations to assist the new arrivals of foreign teachers in providing unused furnitures, home and kitchen appliances and anything that can help them to get settled and adjust quickly in their new environment.
STEP helps remote rural public elementary schools with school supplies and other basic necessities. We donate backpacks, notebooks and writing materials to poor school children.
